Short-Term Expert

Internal Reference:

Tasks:

Experts would have short-term missions in the duration between 3 to 5 days in Sarajevo or due to COVID-19 Pandemic online workshops.

Place of Employment:

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Estimated Duration of Employment:

one week up to 18 months

Necessary Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proven contractual relation to a public administration or mandated body
  • Degree in Law and/or University degree in Law Enforcement/police or equivalent professional experience of at least 8 years. A Master’s degree in Law will be considered an asset.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the organized crime field or policy and legal drafting
  • Experience in team management
  • Experience in drafting laws, guidelines, manuals is essential. Legal expert, legal advisor position in an international context in any EU Police Mission, EU financed technical assistance project and or twinning project in the relevant field is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. Previous experience in working with multi-disciplinary and multi-national teams is an asset;
  • Excellent knowledge of English (spoken, written) and computer literacy
